The first love interest in this is very predatory, and the show wants you to think it's cute. I dropped after the sexual assault scene in ep 2, while knowing (from novel readers) more about what was coming, and how the series handles this sort of thing going forward. In the novel, there is an attempted rape that's interrupted, and involves Renako slapping Mai - but then later being gaslighted, and apologizing for this.. If you want to spoil yourself, you can
