I was hoping reading volume two would better inform me as to what kind of plot 小田切ほたる would have been/is aiming for, but either we were still too early in, or she unfortunately didn't have anything more cohesive than shorts in mind (or her medical issues interfered). I still enjoyed what we got here though (a deeper look at 雨京, though she apparently tossed away his ワケあり rather quickly, and Hotsuma returning), and honestly it's probably for the best, since as of this review it'
