(3/5)[While reading review] The grammar can become complex sometimes, but the vocabulary is easy and there is few slang. The problem that I am facing (and here it may be my own unfamiliarity with manga) is that it is frequent that the characters on the scene are not the ones speaking, and there is a lot of internal thinking in which who is the thinking character can be unclear. A bit disappointing
I thought this was ok, but I was hoping for something more over the top. Yes, the characters are in a toxic relationship that is probably harmful to both of them, but overall it felt pretty tame. I wanted to be swept up into the melodrama but was left slowly rolling along.
