(3.19/5)It's readable but so so boring
I chose this book as my first because I wasn't sure if I'm capable of reading anything more, and now that I've finished a "real" book I'm probably not going back to this. In terms of entertainment I'd rate it the same as reading a wikipedia article. Its educational, can be interesting at times, but overall it can be a bit of a slog.

Good language learning. The stories were okay. Some were better than others. In a few of them, I really found myself questioning my comprehension because the charactor actions didn't seem to make sense, but I think I did understand it, and the actions just didn't make sense!
I prefer the style of longer form graded readers to these short stories, as the longer form ones feel more like a real book.
