Komi-san is actually a bit easier than I had anticipated, especially for a 4koma, but has a few major stumbling blocks for language learners. The fact Komi has difficulty speaking with others means that often there are times when there isn't much being said. Conversely, there are also quite a few jokes that end with massive chunks of text that can take time to decode (or you can just skip). Generally speaking the manga is a bit on the wordy side, but most of the construction is not overly comple
Cute little manga about a girl with social anxiety
Basically what's written on the box. I really like how this manga doesn't make an attempt to oversexualize Komi or immediately put the two main leads together. It's refreshing compared to some other high school romance mangas! Instead, this first book is just their friendship and some funny and wholesome moments.
As for language difficulty, it's fairly easy to understand, with some spikes in difficulty here and there. Overall it's fairly simple, if you're at an N3 level or willing to use a dic
