探偵犬クリス 2 柴犬探偵、幽霊屋敷の謎をさぐる!

A cute follow-up to the first novel that solves some lingering questions while introducing some new threads that will likely be resolved in the third novel. These aren't really complex mysteries that you try to solve as you read moreso, but this volume does present an odd enough scenario that had me wondering what the deal was and the reveal was good. Since the characters were established in the first novel there's more room for Hinata and company trying to figure things out which gives this one a faster pace, and the haunted house theme is a fun vibe (when I reviewed the first one I said it wasn't like Scooby Doo and then the second one comes out and hits you with a spooky mansion). It will be nice to read what I assume is the final volume and the langauge level is still perfect.
