This is a great book for intermediate Spanish learners. It’s such a fun story, and you probably know the story fairly well from the movies which makes it easier to follow along.
The vocab is generally straightforward. There were occasional words that sounded a bit old fashioned. Most of the words I didn’t know were verbs or adjectives whose meaning could be inferred from context.
The songs of the Oompa-Loompas are a bit more tricky to read but you could probably skim over those if you wanted.
