A series of disconnected short stories. I read this over several months, finishing a story at a time between other readings, so I don't recall all the possible content warnings, but being 赤川次郎 there is both murder and suicide.
Some stories didn't leave much of an impression, but I did particularly enjoy 本物の朝 and 幕間に死なす. They both were very satisfying reads, at least for my tastes.
