We've got old kana, old kanji, and horrible formatting combined to make this tedious to read. It's rakugo and so I think better formatting of the text (each person's line being on a single line instead of jumbled together) would have helped.
I got some of the jokes but the juice just wasn't worth the squeeze for me.
