Stepping into a classic

If you've got N3 grammar down, then you should be able to read this okay. There were a handful of N2 grammar points, and only a couple of N1. The real issue is all of the slang. There is a LOT of slang. It's tough to deal with at first, but you get used to it pretty quickly. In later chapters there are a few characters who speak with heavy dialects, which are even harder to deal with, but they don't speak that much.

Culture shock

Someone recommended this for me to read and fairly certain someone else recommended it to me before. I was never interested but figured I would check the appeal.

It feels a lot like One Piece where it is a big adventure with characters and enemies coming and going, everything up in the air as the protaganists try to achieve their goal.
