I originally had this at 4 stars, but after sitting on it for a bit, I'm going to bump it down. The book had quite a bit going on as per usual, but this time I felt like one particular character got shafted for no discernable reason: Nigel. It's just frustrating when (spoilers through the rest of the book) someone who's a main character gets some really interesting motivations and plot for a chapter or two (which we saw buildup for in a previous volume), but then
