So it’s a romance with a difference as the synopsis states. Pretty early on we get to know the delicate little doll princess isn’t actually so delicate and you definitely don’t want to mess with her. In contrast, her chosen fiancé isn’t the puffed up rogue he’s hyped up to be and everyone seems pretty shocked by their willingness to be a couple.
The pair play their parts well and it seems a pretty decently thought out story with well rounded characters and the usual political intrigue going on. Though it doesn’t focus much on this in the beginning, it does become more prominent as the story goes on (past what is currently in print as it is an ongoing web manga).
Content warning: I believe there is a slight age gap between the main characters but both appear to be 18+. No ages have been explained that I remember but both are referred to as teens/young adults iirc.
If you like these kinds of stories, check it out as it was a fun read.
Language wise it doesn’t focus much cover some court titles and such but over all the language doesn’t seem to be that flowery sitting around N4- lower N3 maybe with a lot of common words except for the fantasy and court stuff which seems to be a relatively small % so far.
