I gave this a try bc I had read a random chapter or two in the middle, and it seemed like it would be a rather spicy story, with some toxic drama elements... which is not wrong, but if I'd known what it was, I wouldn't have picked it up.

The story starts off with a not very consensual sexual encounter between the mains... followed by one of them throwing up and passing out drunk (while the PoV character takes care of her), then the PoV character raping that same character in her sleep.
