With graded readers level 2 such as this one they finally start becoming helpful for improving your reading and often provide more interesting topics as well as full sentences. This one also has a cute 猫, so that´s always a plus.

Recommended to make it a habit and read through these, at least in conjunction with textbook stuff.

It's also the kind of story one can try reading after having learnt the particles - especially が & の - to see if they can grasp their usage in the story.
