In this book, a teen boy deals with his twin brother’s suicide while under pressure from his mom to be academically successful. This starts off pretty strong with the suicide imagery, so it is a little hard to read. I didn't find it overly graphic or anything, but def emotional.
This book was a good look into academic pressures (esp by moms who are famous for this in Korea) and dealing with grief/trauma (or like...not). I didn’t read it for so long because I thought it was going to be a really typical school story. I’m glad I ended up picking it up tho. It ended a little lackluster for me but I got what it was trying to do.
