This is a pleasant read if you finished the first volume and feel like you'd like to see more of the characters and their way of life. It lacks the spark of the first volume, however, and while there are minor mysteries to be solved and developments to hope for, ultimately there was no big payoff in reading it, just some more time with all these quirky but likeable characters in their unique mountain village.
