I'm level 19 on WaniKani, and halfway through the N4 grammar lessons on Bunpro. I found the content of these five little booklets to be a good stretch of my reading ability. There were N4 level grammar points in there, quite a bit of vocab that I had to look up. Stories were a mix of comedy and tragedy, quite entertaining given the constraints of graded readers. Can recommend.

This is about as good as graded readers get. By retelling fairy tales and classic stories, the authors tried very hard to overcome the fatal flaw of graded readers: being boring. Despite their herculean efforts, this collection of graded readers is still pretty boring. Other than entertainment, it has a lot to offer.
