This is a book with multiple narrators. The voice and thought processes of each narrator are different, and I found some of them harder to read than others. In terms of reading difficulty, there's also frequent mention of famous people of the time (2002), TV programs and movies, brands and Tokyo neighbourhoods.
I think it's better to get into this book without knowing much about it, so I'll refrain from saying much. A motley group of young people end up sharing a two-bedroom apartment in Tokyo
