[DeepL Translation - needs review] Ellen, an orphan who has been discovered to have a talent for magic, is assigned as an "intern" under the tutelage of Riza, a genius "magic" scholar. 16 years old and highly praised, Riza was once an orphan, and like Ellen, she too was lonely. Through their live-in internship, the two gradually develop a warm bond... A heartwarming fantasy in which "magic" connects lonely girls.

Nice light story of a young scholar, and the even younger orphan she took in as her intern/apprentice. Both very sincere, and good-hearted people who want to use magic to help others. There's a bit of an age gap (10 & 16 at start, 12 & 18 at the end of this volume), but so far it hasn't quite gone in a romantic direction (that seems possible though). I'm curious if we'll get to see the characters age much more over the series - that would be kinda cool.
