A worthy capper to the first two-parter of the series that keeps up the energy of volume 11. The plot manages to be a little darker and more exciting than the usual Kirby fare without feeling out of left field or inconsistant with the rest of the books. I like that it plays with some of the long-running gags like how this is the first time Metaknight willingly calls Kirby for help because he's too annoying otherwise but this time it's a big threat. I liked that even though we finally find out
