Wotakoi is a series that's at its best when we get to see the full cast of characters experience the ups and downs of everyday life. This novelization, in comparison, feels very out of balance and often one-note because it focuses so much on Hirotaka's point of view and the beginning of his and Narumi's relationship.
As a big fan of the manga and anime I thought I would enjoy seeing a fresh perspective on the events that kicked off the whole series, but three whole chapters of Hirotaka's take
