A nice collection of Japanese fairy tales
This is a nice hardback book (mine was hardback, at least) filled with 12 classic Japanese fairy tales. Each tale features full furigana and a full English rendition, so you can read and enjoy them even in your Japanese isn't quite up to snuff.
While you can in theory use the English as a reference for the Japanese, it's not really set up that way. The English is a nice localization instead of a dry, typical translation you might see in learner's materials, and quite often a paragraph in one la
