As previous volumes, mostly identical to the anime. We meet a certain 生臭坊主 in this volume, who adds a lot to the story. Also the antagonist of the 2nd half has a pretty cool ability! I find Kagome's reaction to Miroku kind of hard to buy. Like he ambushes them, kidnaps her, steals the 四魂のかけら, tries to kill them (in self-defense), and is also shown to be a swindler and a lech, and she's just down to travel with him.
