Little Bear and Little Tiger dream of "the greatest happiness on earth" — of wealth. And where is it to be found? In the ground, of course! So they start digging. They search for treasure everywhere they go, meeting many others along the way who are also seeking their fortune. And in the end they do indeed become rich — only to lose everything again almost at once, and return to their cosy house by the river.
