A Nothing Burger
Wow. I am so annoyed with how much of a nothing burger this was, finishing off with a big slap of "that was a terrible ending" raw onion.
This is supposed to be a heart-warming story about found family, but it wasn't. At all.
I won't post any spoilers but I can't believe this book was so popular in Japan. Nothing happened for the whole story; all the "parents" were nice on the surface, but made terrible parenting choices; the main character had 0 growth...it felt like there was no point at all
