A story about 2 girls in 3 languages.
I thought this book was super cool as a language learner because it contains 3 different versions of Japanese; including two that have been created by the author. The reader is given specific rules for some of these languages and you just have to fly into it full steam ahead. Great world building and the language level isn't too bad, once you factor in all of the other languages. :) Def N2+ to N1 level.
Unlike some other Japanese books I have been reading (you know who), there is a good reveal

Beautiful
I adored this and devoured it in a day. As another review mentions, the made-up languages take a bit of getting used to, but they're not too difficult. That aside, this was a fairly easy read which was peppered with lots of plant names that weren't significant enough to look up, besides the titular 彼岸花. I also listened to the audiobook as I read, which helped.
