Cute and simple, not much happening though
It reminds me of books I read when I was in primary school myself - it's not necessarily a book that comes with a lesson by the end. ユウ gets surprisingly little screen time for a book about him, it's mostly a story about しげる and ゆかり, where for most of the story, しげる gets in trouble and ゆかり is attempting to get him out of trouble, with more or less success. The setting is pretty narrow and most of the drama part is happening at school. It's good to read quickly and feel like you're one novel ahead, but there were moments when it felt really derivative and by-the-book, so as long as you are aware that this is a children's novel, you might be able to enjoy it ^^
