A must read for Fujimoto fans or anyone looking for a good one-shot

Normally I don't write reviews for books that already have several, but this manga was something special. I feel like putting it into words wouldn't do it good, so if you're a fan of the more emotional aspects of Fujimoto's works, then go check this out. I highly recommend it.

Language Learning: No furigana, but the words used are fairly easy. Out of all the pages there was only one sentence I didn't understand (that used some words I'd never heard of before) but other than that, fairly easy. I

One of his best

One of Fujimoto's better works. It's sad, gripping and thought-provoking. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because the author lost me a bit on the ending.

Highly recommended!

I find fujimoto's manga in general very legible for ~N3 leveled people (speaking from this and chainsaw man, now going through fire punch). they were my first manga in japanese and the vocabulary is pretty repetitive (even if not useful for actual real life japanese conversation). some grammar/style of speaking in manga can be tricky at first but once you get the gist of of it it's mostly smooth sailing!

as usual, the story was great.

Ending lost me a bit but the road to get there was really enthralling and drew me along really well. Very readable with sparse dialogue but still deliberate and thought-provoking.

what a story, mark.

i've been a big fan of fujimoto's manga for several years now and was looking forward to trying this as my first book of his in japanese.

i've read several manga around this one's natively level, but most of them have been straightforward slice of life where getting the gist of a complex sentence is enough to progress with the story. unfortunately the twists and turns and level of dialogue in this (combined with my desire as a fan to understand everything perfectly) had me
