Hello! This is Koiwai Yotsuba, Yotsuba Koiwai...um, YOTSUBA! Yotsuba moved with Daddy to a new house from our old house waaaaaaay over there! And moving's fun 'cos people wave! (Ohhhh!!) And Yotsuba met these nice people next door and made friends to play with (one of 'em acted like one of those bad strangers Daddy told Yotsuba not to go with, but it was okay in the end). A really fun and cute manga! I haven’t read the first volume in Japanese (only in English) so I can’t speak for that one, but this volume has a lot of repetition of phrases / words which was nice for learning. I also enjoyed the comedy and drawings in it as well!

Same as another person said in a review, I enjoyed the second volume even more. While the first volume took me two months, I finished this one in a week! Really funny, almost immediately started the next volume cause I can't get enough of Yotsuba.

Not sure why, but I enjoyed the second volume much more than the first! Perhaps I just had an easier time understanding? All I know is that it was quite straightforward and very enjoyable. よつば is too cute xD

For language learning, it's very similar to the first one - simple language, daily phrases and short sentences with lots of pictures.
