(3.27/5)Good but not my favorite
At first glance, you could think it will be about a heavy subject, but as soon as the first chapter (or so?) is done, it is actually pretty light. It's not bad, it's actually really light, easy to read, you learn some Kansai ben which is super fun ! I read it within 3 days even though I'm a slow reader. It's really short, which can be good and bad. Because of the length, I felt like I still didn't learn much about the characters, we just don't know them, and to be honest, at the end you understand there was an evolution between the characters, yet you didn't see it, it appears like magic, it's a bit weird... Also, the end arrived really fast as well
Anyway, if you want to read something "light" about a girl discovering the country side, and you want to learn some Kansai ben, it's a good choice !
Language wise, it's easy enough: n3-n2 I would say !

Iyashikei novel
This story deals with a woman who is suffering from burnout and travels to - what she believes to be - a desolate place to end her life. Personally, I thought it was a very good depiction of that and also of how people around you might react.
The book is all vibes and not really a lot of story, but I really liked the descriptions of 田舎 life and the people she interacts with.
I wanted a bit more from the ending, but the ending makes sense for this book.
The locals use some sort of dialect (probably from the Kansai area, if I had to guess), but I didn't have any issues understanding it.
