Entertainment: This book is exactly what you think it is from the title and the cover art. Having said that, it has a legitimate, albeit rather simple and straightforward story to tell, that I found entertaining enough. The book is short, so don't expect any significant world building or character development, but on the other hand there is no unnecessary fluff to blow up the page count for no reason, which I appreciated. I liked the characters and I thought the general setting was fun. I did however not think that the ending was well written, which left me with a slightly bitter aftertaste. I would have given this 4/5 but after the ending it's 3/5.
Language Learning: I found the first 2/3rd of this book very easy to read, and the last 1/3rd rather difficult. Without spoiling anything, this is because of how the story progresses and how the setting changes throughout the book. Basically all unknown vocabulary for me suddenly showed up all at once in the final 1/3rd. Generally however, this book is a great way to branch out a little from the usual slice of life vocab to a medieval setting, without being as difficult as a typical Isekai. Not for complete beginners, but good for someone who has read maybe 5-10 books already.
