[DeepL Translation - needs review] Volume 1: The transfer student is a super-hot vampire! I'm Miu Hinata, a first-year junior high school student. Kirishima-kun, an out-of-season transfer student, is very handsome, but he's not normal. When I cut my finger, he licks the blood off it, moves at a blindingly fast pace, and I can't believe he's a vampire! I'm curious about the mysterious Sei-kun, but he has two unbelievably scary and beautiful brothers. ......? And the three vampire brothers don...

I originally got 霧島くんは普通じゃない because I wanted some "sparkly" vampire nostalgia and it delivered.
The first half was very entertaining and fun. The main character (Miu) seemed original and interesting, there was a scandalous scene in the 保健室 and a general air of mystery and intrigue.
Sadly, after the (not very surprising) reveal, Miu started acting in really boring ways and thinking only about really boring things. So the middle part was a drag.
There was some more action to keep things interesting towards the end, and I appreciated that, but unfortunately Miu's personality never fully recovered from the blow it took when she started liking Kirishima-kun.

This felt more a bit more difficult but a lot more entertaining than 海色ダイアリー because the author didn't feel the need to virtue signal with the FMC or the MMC. However, the FMC does make some questionable decisions, and at times seems to lose her wits entirely, but I mean... she's like 12 years old, and is put in situations that would probably leave full grown adults speechless, so..
Personally, I'm intrigued by the MMC's backstory and thought the author brought in some interesting elements to the vampire aspect (though, I'm not a hardcore vampire enthusiast so YMMV) & family dynamics. There is also a cute pet involved that gets bonus points in my book, so all in all it's enough for me to continue with the series.
There were at least 130 new words/expressions for me in this book, and that's just what I got around to adding to my vocab deck. I feel like this book was a lot more descriptive than 海色ダイアリー so overall it felt more difficult.
