Fun Read - but not necessarily easy (29 short stories from 29 authors)
If you are looking for a BL sampler, consider this series.
Not sure where this should really fall out on natively level. It's harder to read as you can never really settle into one writing style. Each story is about 4 pages long so in many ways it's like picking 29 new books. All in all though it was a fun read. I ordered this because one of the authors I like was published in this book (vol 1) and ended up finding some other new authors as well.
At the end of each story there is a small blurb/short bio about the couple/paring. On the next page are a few words from the author about what they like as well as what they have published. There are few authors that don't normally write BL in this book as well.
That said I didn't love every story and there were maybe 2 or 3 of them that felt a little out of place. It's to be expected that a reader won't love every story, but there are 29 of them and the styles and stories varied greatly so it we be unlikely that a reader would hate them all. Overall, no regrets on this purchase, looking forward to vol2 and possibly finding some more new authors.
