A collection of short stories set against the backdrop of the pandemic, each featuring some form of crime. Initially, I expected them all to be dark horror stories based on the title and theme, but that wasn’t necessarily the case — there was a lot of variety in genre. The author did a great job of arranging and pacing all of the stories so that both each individual one and the collection as a whole had a great sense of tension.
