(3.84/5)A good read for a beginner who wants a bit of challenge!
Doraemon is a story designed for a younger audience in mind, but it's just silly enough that if you don't take it seriously, anyone can enjoy it. The manga contains lots of really unique and interesting vocabulary, but not enough where it's overly intimidating, aside from one chapter, where the vocabulary and grammar is very difficult (and I won't spoil why that is). Overall, it's a very smooth read, and I'd recommend it to just about anyone n3 and above.
This manga is a classic! Doraemon, a robotic cat from the 22nd century, comes back to help out the hapless のび太 and make his life a little less miserable. Of course, with every attempt to help, there are unfortunate, hilarious consequences that need to be resolved :)
I enjoyed it - It's certainly targeted towards children and the humor is a bit silly (although less dumb in my estimation than something like Shirokuma Cafe), but it's cute. It's something I wouldn't read on my own in my native lang
