This volume was soooooo much fun. Maki & Umi feel so much more settled together as a couple now, there's a ton of activities, and some interesting new characters added to the roster. It's also nice to see the main 5 (yes Nozomu actually shows up a bunch) get closer with each other. We got another male character, another couple, and lots of (mostly) upbeat and pleasant moments (along with some drama too), plus our usual dose of the バカップル. The characters from book 4 play an interesting role in the story as well. Between summer break, the sports festival, and various other things, the book definitely keeps you on your toes.
The epilogue was really fascinating, this time we get one from Yuu's momof all people! Of course Yuu's feelings for Maki that were mentioned in the previous epilogue also come up... And the author develops that in a very interesting way, that was positively different than what I was expecting. I'm really interested to see how it plays out in the next volume!!
