Story: This series features a very similar setup to 私の推しは悪役令嬢 | L28, but I have to say I found it much more humorous, interesting, and enjoyable. It also doesn't feature any of the sexual harassment that わたおし is basically built on.
Setting: Like わたおし, the setting is a fantasy royal/national academy, from a dating sim, that has controversially opened its doors to commoners. Serina has reincarnated as a lower noble, and the prejudice from the higher nobles, towards lower nobles and commoners, feels much more immediate and real here. While Rae's commoner status often feels very "in name only", Serina's mixed social acceptance feels much more realistic here, requiring her to think twice about standing up for someone else, or offering a helpful hand.
Characters: Unlike わたおし's Claire (an overconfident main character who has the entire game memorized inside-out, and thus is a master strategist, who magically has the solution to almost everything), Serina is a slightly 鈍感 high school ギャル, going with the flow, and trying her hardest to protect and please her favorite characters. Her ギャル personality is both her biggest asset and flaw, and she and the villainess (a curt, abrasive ツンデレ, who feels much more genuine and down to earth than the stuck-up Claire) are basically social outcasts. While Serina has an occasional trick or two up her sleeve, things don't come particularly easy, and she has to really work for her progress. There is also an excellent third character, a commoner who serves as a great balance to Serina and the villainess.
While there are references to the original game, it never feels like you're sitting in a lecture about the game and mechanics (which is both わたおし's strength and weakness). Instead, you concisely get the necessary info, and the focus stays on the story. The supporting characters feel much more vibrant too! The story makes also makes great comedic use of its dense main character, as well as 片思い caused via misunderstanding
Language: The language in here is a great balance so far. There's some fantasy and aristocratic vocab, but at the same time, it's much easier than say わたおし or 転生王女と天才令嬢の魔法革命 | L28, making it a very accessible entry point for someone interested in fantasy isekai yuri stories.
Conclusion: I didn't write this review to bash わたおし (which I also read the monthly chapters), and which this story clearly owes its existence to. However thanks to being a later iteration of that setup, it's able to deliver a very fulfilling experience, and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a yuri manga in the isekai vilainess genre.
