After the assault, the story is extremely sweet and cozy. The language is simple. It's just slice of life countryside living. So anything new you pick up from this book, you will definitely see in other manga. Even the fantasy kanji is quite basic and useful.
This manga is probably the most emotional one I've read yet. The desperation of the characters is well portrayed. I enjoyed it a lot.
