Easily my least favorite of the recent books. It starts off with a long, drawn out prologue story that will be very plot important for this and next volume, but which 50-60% could have been cut out without losing anything. They also spend the majority of the book being chased by or fighting Gorilla-type monsters (and that extends into the next volume too).
