At intermediate level I do still need a reminder of the "coppu vs. cappu" thing from time to time, but here the format really doesn't help with memorization, especially for beginners. A lot of new vocab introduced for very little gain (I guess the goal is just to teach を飲みますか but why then overwhelm beginners with the vocab?), because they'll be forgotten soon after. The pictures are not that mnemonic.

Repetitive with little creativity

It's one of those again that is just the same subject with slightly changed words on every page, boring and uninteresting even for a beginner
