Blurb
[DeepL Translation - needs review] After being hospitalized for a minor suicide attempt, "I" decided to escape from the boring mental hospital. She lured "Nagoyan" from Nagoya and began her escape in his battered car. Along the way, she is plagued by auditory hallucinations and has a run-in with Nagoyan, but the car speeds away from Fukuoka to Aso and then south. (Kodansha Bunko)

Two twentysomethings break out of a mental hospital, and take a trip through Kyushu.
I'd recommend this to someone who's spent time in Kyushu, as there's a tonne of places/memories of Kyushu that they cover as they ride around (If someone's not spent time in Kyushu this might not be so interesting).
The dialogue has Kyushu-ben mixed in, including a small amount of talk about differences within Kyushu (e.g. the title comes from Saga-ken dialect). This does make it a little harder, although one character is often explaining the Kyushu-ben to the other, so it is also kinda a good primer.
