As a note, I listened to the audiobook, I did not read the text.
Content warnings: Murder? I don't remember anything noteworthy really.
Basic plot: A set of four short stories that build upon each other lightly as the main character, Little Red Riding Hood, is the constant in all of them, solving cases on her journey.
Language learning: Lots of fantasy/folk tale vocab, varied registers of speaking, some the stereotypical folk tale types. I don't think grammar here should really be an issue, though.
Review: I really enjoyed the first two stories, lost the plot on the third one and had to relisten (note: I'm bad at keeping track of lots of characters when reading, it's even worse when listening and this section had a big cast), and honestly I'm not sure if I was just sick of reimagined fairy tales or what but I was just ready for the book to be over halfway through the final story.
I can see myself maybe picking up another book in this series as it was mildly entertaining, but I don't see myself rushing to it.
