The writing is very modern so in that regard it's not hard to follow, but it's "based on a dream" and I feel like the author didn't take any care as to whether this was a dream worth writing about. No plot, random feeling characters, dissatisfying. I think it could have been saved a bit by a more evocative writing style, but it was very plain.
