An action-packed follow-up
Volume 2 of the Flesh & Blood series starts off strong with a storm, keeping a good pace throughout the book. Volume 2 is about 100 pages shorter than volume 1, which probably helps contribute, and you can expect to see a heavier emphasis on ship-related/nautical terms in this volume, especially near the beginning and end of the book. Language-wise nothing felt significantly more difficult than volume 1; if you read the first you should be well-equipped to read the second.
