I read this in under 2 days, the fastest I've gone through a book -- partly for a challenge, but the straightforward writing style and snappy pace lends itself well to that. All the vocab is pretty everyday... lists of food got a little much for me, but that's about it. It's just fun watching the mysteries and ridiculous occurrences pile up.

This is great. Not only can you read it for free, it's quite simple language-wise and fun to read.
I did see some of the twists coming, some of them are a bit lazy and the ending might leave you unsatisfied, but I got hooked and read this in record time.
If you go into this expecting delicious literary junk food, you will not be disappointed, imo.
