Our main protagonist is a kindergarten teacher who has a devoted long-term boyfriend and one good but annoying friend. It's a short read, but it took me time to process the meaning of certain moments throughout the pages tbh. A good portion of the book is just learning about our protagonist's life at first, but you just gotta push through lol. There is slight SF elements but this is not a super out of this world book if that's what you are looking for.
