I found this to be a pretty satisfying read! and nothing crazy difficulty wise except the shaman's exorcism (pretty much right from the opening scene/chapter). I pushed through that with lots of lookups lmao and was able to read the rest of the book with little look-ups, though I absolutely did need some throughout.
This is horror, although not as much as I thought it was going to be lol. More mystery with some horror elements more in the descriptions, but nothing crazy imo.
Definitely be aware of some content warnings!! These may be spoilers but if you are concerned: graphic-ish depictions of suicide, murder, sexual abuse from what I remember
