Cute girls + references 100 years ago

Comedic tropes. Entertaining when reading once in while. Language isn't really difficult. Signs and labels are written RTL or using old Kanji forms sometimes.

References on the last page, including that エス. Some real places too.

It turns into a nobility drama as the story goes on.

A fun dive into taisho-era vocab and thinking with the usual manga time kirara-style 4-koma all-girl pseudo-yuri tropes. I enjoyed this one but there was a lot of old-timey vocab usage (and more importantly modes of thinking, specifically around education, social roles etc) that might not get as much play in more modern series.

These don't appear that often, so this increases the difficulty a little, but not significantly. More of a factor in the difficulty is the historical references to how social structures were set up in this era, specifically around 五爵.

Other than the setting, the manga is fairly standard for a Kirara series. I would say it leans into drama a little more than most K
