I had high expectations for this since I'd enjoyed the first couple chapters of the manga version, back before I started learning Japanese. However, it had several problems, despite the interesting premise:
The main character - whose past/mindset is better explored farther in - continuously calls herself a ただ貧乏人 and it. Gets. OLD. We know! But her attitude is grating (although I think it's meant to be humble?) and it doesn't combine well with point #2.
