This is the first manga series that I've finished reading in Japanese, which is exciting! The beginning was decent, with one arc I didn't love, but the series really took off after volume 5, with plenty of action, humor, and heart. I feel like the author hit his stride there and did a really good job showcasing Tsuyoshi's character - his kindness, kick-assery, and amusing friends and family. I really liked the arcs with his middle school friend, middle school kouhai, and the Max ladies<
